Nicole Smith is the current chair for the South Carolina LMSC board.  Her love for the sport of swimming started at a young age and she hopes to swim into her 90’s!  Nicole has coached swimming at various levels including: age group, summer league, high school, and Masters.   Currently, she swims and coaches for Columbia Masters, as well as runs a Grown Up Swimming league in Columbia.  She hopes to grow Masters swimming in South Carolina and help swimmers build camaraderie with other teams around the state.  Part of this plan was executed with the help of other LMSC board members, when a unified team was assembled for the 2026 Spring Nationals in Greensboro.  It was called the South Carolina Current and they placed 11th overall!
